An architechtural model of the abandoned above-ground subway trail running through through Chelsea in New York City. Constructed using photographs of the trail and images from Google Maps. The intention of this model is to reconstruct the space from a fixed perspective that shows the mood of the space.
In this case, I chose to situate the user's point of view between two large buildings along a wild green trail. The photographs on the wall are scaled up to show the immersive and meditative qualities of the space.
